name that quote!?!?!?

name the movie from the quote.

******: Mandrake, do you recall what Clemenseau once said about war?

*******: No, I don't think I do, sir, no.

******: He said that war was too important to be left up to the generals. When he said that, 50 years ago, he might have been right. But today, war is too important to be left to politicians. They have neither the time, the training, nor the inclination for strategic thought.

I agree with Peacemaker. Sean Connery, best part he ever did, next to Indiana Jones' father.

You might not remember Sean Connery as James Bond. Possibly the best bart he ever did was in Diamonds Are Forever. He drove a Mach 1 Mustang on two wheels and tore up the vegas strip in that car!

But I do have to agree that Red October was a great movie.

NOPE, not red october.

I'll give ya another quote.

Mandrake: Colonel...that Coca Cola machine. I want you to shoot the lock off it. There may be some change in there.

Guano: That's private property.

Mandrake: Colonel! Can you possibly imagine what is going to happen to you, your frame outlook way of life and everything, when they learn that you have obstructed a telephone call to the President of the United States? Can you imagine?! Shoot it off! Shoot! With a gun! That's what the bullets are for you twit!!

Guano: Okay. I'm gonna get your money for ya. But if you don't get the President of the United States on that phone, you know what's gonna happen to you?

Mandrake: What?!

Guano: You're gonna have to answer to the Coca Cola company.

I can longer sit back and allow communist infiltration, communist indoctrination, communist perversion and the international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

Remember him well, but I just never have liked the James Bond movies.

Personally taste thing I guess.

I agree - Dr. Strangelove.

But I think Roger Moore was in Diamond are Forever. I could be wrong though.

It is Dr. Strangelove.

Sean Connery has been in lots of good to decent movies.

The Presidio
The Highlander
The Untouchables
Entrapment
Medicine Man
First Knight
The Rock
Just Cause
Red Sun

Those are just a few I can think of off hand.
The Bond flick were good, too. By the standards of the time, they were excellent.

You are very correct Odin, sorry I overlooked those. The Presidio and Medicine Man were two of my favorites. Thanks for reminding me, may just have to go rent those next weekend.
