why is it that every chevy whether it is a s-10, blazer all the way up to the subub, has a driver that does not have a polite bone in there bodies. i drive about 100 miles a day between my school bus and my personal vehicles, and i never seen a chevy guy use a turn signal, or stop at a stop sign or my school lights!! thats a 300 dollar fine in PA!! i dont know...maby they are just mad that they didnt buy a FORD!!

and another thing about chevies, their electrical systems always seem to be messed up, the parking lights come on when they hit the brakes and the such!!

Forgive me and please do not take this wrong but I believe you have it wrong. It is not guys driving these Chevy's that are not polite, it is basically the way it is for them.

You see many, many Chevy's don't have turn signals that actually work, their brakes are not usually all that great so they save them and only use them in extreme emergency, and then they “hope” like hell they will actually work.

You really have to take a step back and “try” to put yourself in their shoes, Lord knows that is hard to do, but at least try.

Now, imagine if you will, as nasty a feeling as it may be, but imagine you (Lord please forgive me for I am about to sin) owned a Chevy. I honestly believe you would have a “chip” on your shoulder too if your truck spent like 70% of its life in a lonely bay waiting for repairs. Now let’s go one step further and imagine you owed stock in plastic. Have you seen the stock prices on plastic? It’s not pretty. Now, not only are these Chevy owners that have stock in plastic loosing their shirts, their resale value of their trucks is tanking as well (A lot of plastic in them Chevy’s).

So the next time, instead of being up-set have a heart, walk up to the guy, give him a buck and tell him “I am so sorry, I am so, so sorry for your misfortune” It just might make his day in his dark world…

Well, I forgot to mention that another reason they don't use the turn signals is they have a life span of like 25 uses and then it breaks off the steering column. So, instead of the good ol’ saying of “use it or lose it” Chevy owners have their own saying “use it and lose it”

FYI: I always signal, and my brakes and ALL my lights work just fine thank you. And I always stop for stop signs and especially schoolbuses...unlike the Ford boy that was in front of me today. He decided to gun it and pass the schoolbus as it was coming to a stop. But I've seen Chevy and Dodge and all other drivers do stupid things as well.

BTW...Camels are nasty. Anybody got some Marlboro Lights? I quit smoking 3 months after I started but I sure could use one tonight.

thanks 01 i needed that, if i got a dollar for every car that passes my lights...all makes and models, but all on the cellphone... everyday i would be on an island that even the internet didnt reach!! yesterday it was a bad day, about 99% of the vehicles that did stupid things just happened to be a chevy!!

marboro lights, a friend who we will call a "professional" says that they taste like a sexual byproduct...that was 4 years ago and i never touched a marlboro product since!!

That why there needs to be a law, that makes the manufactors of cell phone install some sort of electrial interferer that cuts off the automobile ignition. That way, if you want to use your cell phone in your car, you will have to pull over and turn the car off

Could you imagine all the protests over a law like that?

 

I say go for it. I carry my cell phone with me in my truck. I have custody of my daughter due to some things that happen while with her mother and her mothers @sswipe husband.

Needless to say I have yet to use my shootgun on the moron but I do reserve the right to do so at a later date...

Anyhow, even though it's in my truck my daughter and I have a code. If she calls her number and name comes up, if it is an emergency or for some reason she needs to talk to me NOW, she will call and NOT leave a message. What she will do is let it ring 3-4 times and leave no message. She will then call right back. Since she has left no message I expect her second call so I either pull in somewhere or if on the turnpike/freeway pull over. Then when the phone rings again I answer it while putting no other person at risk.

There is absoulety no reason, in my opinion, for anybody to have to use a cell phone while driving. Don't want to hear from people doing business while on the road because you have NO reason either.
