Angry Thank People for Their Email Responses - A Rant By RP

Sit back and relax... I need to vent.

[RANT]

Recently, I've done several mods to my truck including instaling a power rear sliding window, custom painted Ford emblems, and a custom painted radiator shroud.

I've had NUMEROUS emails with questions ranging from 'how did you do that' to 'why did you do that' to 'how much did that cost'.

I've responded to EACH AND EVERY ONE of those emails over the past couple of weeks. Most of which were several paragraphs and involved quite a bit of my time to put them in words.

With this being said, I just want to tell those of you that didn't respond with a 'thank you' or 'I sincerely appreciate your help' to never bother me with another damn question again.

It's just common courtesy to thank someone when they go above and beyond anything that they have to do to benefit you or to answer a question directly.

For those of you that have asked questions and responded with a THANK YOU; you're more than welcome. I hope I helped you and that you're well on your way to a new mod. I'd be happy to help you any time.

For those of you that have not asked questions of me or any other member... when you do, and you get an answer back from that user, be sure to hit the reply button on your email and thank them. It means alot. Plus, it's just the right thing to do.

And finally, for those of you that have helped me along the way with numerous mods and copius amounts of information... Thank you again. You know who you are.

[/RANT]

For those of you interested in the mods I mentioned, be sure to check out my gallery (link included in sig line). If you have questions, feel free to ask. I will respond.

hahaha Green. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention... if you responded with a "THANK YOU" and a "YOUR TRUCK LOOKS AWESOME..." (or similar comment), that's even better.

First off I will say "Thanks" for future CYA.

Second it is very common for people not to reply with a thanks because that is disscouraged at a lot of companies to keep the email traffic down so people get in the habbit of not responding with a thanks.

HOWEVER in a personal setting like this they ALL should have responded!!!

I have sent you several e-mails asking for money.
I had no idea this is what the hold-up was.
Consider this a big "thank you" right here in front of everyone.

Now, get yer butt down to the post office, chop chop!

Hey RockPick,
I need your help.....

How does helping everyone make for less threads about 01 ?

There will be no "Thanks" until you answer the question.

Thanks for your help.

DOH!!!

i got tons of emails after i did my billet grill install and twice as many after i posted pics of my bedcover. (still get some now)

i got tired to replying to emails asking "what kind of cover is that" "where do you get it", so i typed up all the info on it & saved it as a .txt file... all i do now is copy & paste it into the email..

i'll go ahead and nip Raoul in the bud, because he's gonna ask..

my bed cover is the "pro-sport" tonneau cover from innovation industries.
to order one call innovation industries @ (909)737-3801
the cover is $895 plus shipping. it comes pre painted, carpet lining, etc.

i believe they come without the brake light now.
i have some more pics at: https://www.f150online.com/galleries...TOKEN=76822868

Yeah yeah yeah... you guys are so mean to me. (god, if that wasn't a girlish statement huh?)

LOL... Post ***** 01 XLT? Go look in the mirror!! LOL!

Clone... good idea. I might just have to save a 'generic' email and just cut and paste it on the returns. As you probably can totally relate to, I don't mind responding to emails but, not hearing a thing back in return stinks.

Gator.... SHADDUP! LOL... don't make me hunt your daughter down! HAHAHA!!! ROFL!!

Canyon... no clue man. 01 is such an interesting character, the threads seem like they're never ending. It's not a 'post whoring' method... it's just that he sparks so many interesting conversations. (LMAO... you sense my sarcasm here?? LOL!)

God... Interesting doesn't really even begin to describe it... Not sure about the exact words inside the English language that can come close to touching this one...
