Its not just you. I cant find it either. Maybe Steve deleted the thread due to the graphic picture link that was posted.

I confess, I asked LE PEW to remove his pic and Steve also. I didn't care which did just as long as it was off as soon as possible.

I didn't mean to get Habibi's whole thread removed but, since there was a link to the source at the beginning of the thread it was probably simpler to drop it all.

I'm guessing that the link was the source of that pic, I never opened it as Habibi properly warned about and another member commented on it being graphic.

The internet can be cold and heartless at times.
That was someone's son. Perhaps someone's husband or father.
We don't need to partake in that here.

 

I could have sworn that there was a warning about the picture being graphic. I can't figure why the sensative people who go ahead and look then complain to the point that it is removed so nobody can see it are invariably the ones who say that they are pro choice.

 

the pic was shown in the thread, you didn't have to click it on page 2.

 

I thought you may have been to the Ford dealer and had a bad case of....

 

I gotta say that I did Just take an ever so quick peek at the opening shot then wished i hadn't. Then the copy of it that loaded on the last page jumped me, I wasn't crazy about that, totally uneccesary.

But don't swipe the whole thread.... that and the Larry Hagman thread were fun.

There was a warning and I had no problem with the thread.
The posters looked like they were having fun and I wanted to join in but, I felt I couldn't participate unless I was familiar with the whole thread and with the warning and subject matter I never did open the link.
It didn't bother me, the pics were on another site.
When the pic was put in the thread itself on page two or three, I asked that the pic be removed. That is all.

I would hope anyone else would do the same to protect the integrity of F150online.

 

Im with Raoul on this one and I thank him for doing that. I read the thread, but didnt open the link per Habibi's warning. But when I read the next page the image was basically forced upon me. Maybe that sort of thing does not bother some of you guys. But I am rather sensitive towards it...just think if that were your brother, father, or son. Its sad and its tragic.

 

Ladies & gentelmen, my sincerest apologies for posting that pic. I direct my apology moreso to Habib and Steve because it was my post that got Habib's thread got eliminated and to Steve for putting him in a situation that forced him to do so.

I have'nt checked in to see the Raoul's plea to remove the picture or I would have done so post haste. I realize now in hindsight that it may have been inappropriate and offensive to some, most, or all the members of this board and for this I am truly sorry.

I depart now with my head hung low in shame and hope that you all can find it within you to forgive me.

I guess I'm a little jaded. After 20 years in the Army and seeing the bloody bodies of my fellow service men shown on prime time news every time something happens I may have lost some sensitivity. Why don't some of you guys petition to save the integrity of the news networks?

I have to side with you on this one. I too participated in the thread on my own choice but I viewed the pic from the link on my on choice knowing it would be graphic. I often view this site with my kids and to have an image like that pop up unexpectedly would not be good.

 

I have no opinion on the picture. What you see on the national news everynight, in my opinion, is a lot worse
