has anyone heard the song hurt by johnny cash im not sure if its a new song or old but i just started hearin it. its a great song you can tell there is alot of heart in it just by listenin

 

yea they play it alot on CMT and ive heard it quite a bit. Theres lots of emotion there i think about reflecting back on past times, bad choices, and the great "what might have been"

Its a new song, kind of dark but I like it. Its on his new CD: "American IV: The Man Comes Around." Its a good CD but after listening to it the first time I thought to myself, "Johnny...take some friggin Prozac, would ya?" You gotta be the in the right mood to listen to that CD the whole way through.

 

Oh...forgot to mention this. The song "Hurt" is actually a cover of a Nine Inch Nails song.

I like Folsom Prison Blues the best. That's the only song of his I can play on the guitar.
