Question how to shrink a animated gif?

can you use photoshop to make this animated gif into a smaller file? it's 180k right now, and i want it smaller..

i have photoshop, but haven't figured out how to keep the image animated & resize it.

btw: i made the image with a sony digital camera.. gonna try a smaller pic size right now..

no luck with the camera.. dropping the size also drops the frames you can take.. from 10 to 2.

did another 8 count tho...

As far as I know you can not do it. Photoshop only deals with static images. The gif you have is an animated gif. An animated gif image is several gif images which get cycled through.

You would use photoshop to decrease the size of each image. Then you would need a different program "gif builder" or something like that to put all the images you want back into animation.

I think "gif builder" is a free download if you want to try it. www.download.com

I can get it down to about 100k using GIF Animator, but there is some loss of quality (i.e. graininess).

You can download a trial of GIF Animator at http://www.ulead.com

There is an optimization wizard that will step you through it, very handy.
