Well, another 6 inches overnight for us here in SWVA, we are getting slammed for this place! No complaints, though, it is beautiful here when there is snow!

 

I feel for ya Pickup Man, we've got a few more inches headed our way in just a few hours. Just my luck that the worst of it will be during my homeward commute.

On the bright side the kids reall enjoy it and even got a snow day last week.

I sure am glad I hopped up the snow blower this past summer.

I think it hits us a few hours after you get it.......Funny how the kids love snow days but hate making the days up at the end of the year........my kids love snow days too.....

Hey Pickup Man. I live just down the road from you. Just on the border of TN and VA. Yeah, it's very pretty over here when it snows. Those Virginia mountains are beautiful. I think I saw your truck or one like it one day at a small store called Montgomery's Market. Or some people call it Orville's. Was that you?

 

Actually, Peacemaker, I just now came back to Virginia from Mooresburg, TN, I live down there for work, but now I am laid off again, so...
I don't think it was me, though, but I have seen the one that you are talking about. It is identical to mine, even the visor.

 

Thanks for clearing that up PickupMan. There is a guy who drives a truck just like yours that goes down to that store every weekend. He goes in there to read the newspaper. And he has brown hair and a beard, I think. I saw your picture in that thread about "the face" the other day, and it sorta resembled the guy at the store. Oh well, just checking. Btw, I see alot of people make that "face" around here. It must be contagious.

 

well it is snowing here again, dont think it will amount to much though. getting ready to go back to work early, incase Norrisstown gets out early... with a little luck!!
