Talking Damn....gas is really cheap!

got this in an email, thought it was pretty funny

If you think gas is expensive, let's put things in perspective!

Funny to put things into perspective that way. LoL. Oh by the way you are getting ripped off when you buy your Nyquil I think I paid around $5 for my last 6oz bottle.....it sits empty next to me right now. -Mat-

Remember--None of that other stuff comes out of the ground (except water, and I always cringe when my wife buys bottled water), or is shipped in humongonous tankers. I agree it is artificially cheap at times, but if it is, it means it is purchased cheap as well -- it's the wild fluctuations that pisses the consumer off! Someone in another thread said he longs for the prices when he got his drivers license-- I remember those days -
21.9 CENTS per gallon!! -- just think I could have filled up the f150 for about five dollars!!!!

When I got my license, there was no such thing as self-service gas stations.
Everytime I pulled in, I said the same thing,
"A dollars worth of regular please."

I feel real sorry for ya bro.....

I just paid $1.92 in good ole CT. I had just under 1/4 of a tank and it took $39.00 to fill it. Can anyone say "Second Job"????
