What is XTR?

I was wondering if anyone knows what XTR stands for. I saw a sticker on a F150 today and have seen once before, but I have never heard about it. I know about the STX, but never heard of the XTR. Any clues??

Hi Paul,

My buddy Mike has an XTR.
I'm pretty sure the package is only available in Canada, and it includes the following options:

17 inch wheels
body colour running boards
faux wood interior trim (stereo surround and door handles)
and of course the "special" XTR decals

I think that's about it, just a marketing ploy really.
They are available in both 2 and 4 wheel drive.

Regards
Habibi

So is the XTR like the STX only the Canadian version kind of like the PFK is the Canadian version of KFC? Oh, and what about the highway signs up there. I got lost because I didn't know what
"quest" and "soust" (sorry, it's been a while, I know I've got them wrong) ment. It's like another country when you cross the boarder. Oh yah, it is another country.

Habibi, your buddy has a nice truck there. He might want to 86 the XTR stickers though.

Wittom,

You and I must think alike!

I have been hounding him to lose the decals for almost a year.
I think it would like a lot better with those cheap *** stickers removed, but so far, no dice.

He is holding on to them like a security blanket, LOL, he won't let them go.
I've also been trying to trade wheels with him, but he won't go for that either, the selfish *****.

I think a wheel swap might not be too bad.
(My stickers have been removed long ago)
