St. Louis Auto Show

My dad and I took a drive into StL on saturday and went to the auto show at the America Center. And to tell you the truth, I was somewhat dissapointed with Ford's display. They had a couple new FX4's, a Tonka concept, a HD and a few Focuses. GM however had lots of pickups, vans, cars, and the new Corvette and Z06. I actually sat in the Z06--wow!!!
I like the new FX4's theyre very comfortable and thats probley the choice vehicle that I wouldve driven home if I had my choice.
I also sat in the new Dodge Hemi's--theyre nice, but ill take my Ford. My dad and I also sampled the new Silverados and, just like Ive been telling him all along and he finally agreed with me, Chevys are a bit cheap when it comes to the sturdiness of their pickups. Hell i can easily slam the tailgate with one hand when standing beside the truck. Try that with Ford!
Did anyone else attend this?? I thought it was a fun day.

My dad and i even saw a SVT Contour in the parking garage. I cant believe someone would take a cheap uglyass car and put a SVT badge on that ****. We looked at each other and both had a sudden urge to urinate all over the car, but decided not to

If you ever drove one, you wouldn't say that. They are fun 4-dr cars to drive. Now its no Cobra or even a Lightning, as far as power, but it handles pretty good

I'm going to the show on Sat w/9 co-wprkers. They said they can't decide which show will be best - me when I see the Ford's or when I go rag on the Chevy's! My "secret plan" is to stand at the Checy truck dispplay, wearing my "Bad Girls" hat w/the Ford Blue Oval on it & my "Bite Me Chevy Girl - REAL girls drive Ford's", reading aloud from the slaes stats for 2002 - you know the 1 - where Ford is #1 AGAIN for 26 YEARS ina a row! LOL!
I don' t know if I'll really check out the rest of the show - some of the girls want the free manicure/pedicure (my feet are WAY too ticklish for that!) but I just want to see the trucks. I'm not into cars enough anymore to make any intelligent observation s about them. Yes, I said that! LOL!
