Smile i'm a newbie, help me out?

Hey you all!
My husband and I were thinking about purchasing an F-150, but I have a couple of concerns...especially about the front console. How is it as a third seat? And will there be enough room in the console to put everything I need to?
help me out here...
Thanks!!!

I have the front console in my truck. I guess the million dollar question is , "what do you need to put in there" It holds all the crap I carry.

As far as a third seat. Its okay for a short trip for an adult, but I wouldn't want to spend more than an hour sitting in the middle. If its a small child, not car-seat small, I think it will work quite nicely.

Welcome to the site, and ask all the questions you might have. Somebody here will know the answers

I agree with Fast Gator. It's just me and my 14 year old daughter. Many times I give her and a friend a ride and though there are not a full grown adult they have no problem with sitting in the middle. No problem buckling the seat belt etc. They actually like the middle best because it is just a bit higher then the drivers or passengers set.

Oh, and welcome to the site and good luck with getting a F150.

I agree with Fast Gator and 01 XLT Sport. I have an extended cab with the split front seat. I have had three people in the front and pretty comfortable. If the person is tall, say close to 6 feet, no it would not be that comfortable. but for a smaller person, it is not that bad. My center console is always packed with stuff and I always manage to get more in it when I need it.

Welcome to the site, there are many wonderful people here and if you will probably become addicted to it real soon. If you have a question about something post it and you will get the answer you need.

I agree with everyone else, I have a 98 Supercab with the bench front seat, and 3 full size adults might be a bit uncompfortable for long trips, but for a short trip it is not bad. The back is usually fine too if your legs are not terribly long, I am a bit over 6 foot and the back is fine most of the time. Also, about the dash thing and how much stuff fits, if you don't have a ton of stuff, then it should be fine. I usually keep the center arm rest down also, and though it is not terribly deep, between it and the passenger glove box, I can fit most all of my stuff in.
