Does that mean New York will be detroyed by a nuclear warhead launched from Iraq in 2097? Sure hope not!

 

Isn't that the one a couple of colage students made up as a hoax and it stuck? I think it's tored to be tied to NY in a couple of different occasions.

I have a couple of Books on Nostradamus quatrains, and really took a lot of time reading them.

As fascinating as his predictions are, they are very vague.
Many of his quatrains could apply to many events in our history.

Don't get me wrong, I don't dismiss the guy or anything, but a single quatrain could be reasonably applied to 100 different things that have happened in the history of the world.

One of his most chilling revelations is where he speaks of a 40 year war, and then 10,000 years of peace.

I'm going to dig out those book and go through them again.

the shuttle passed about a 100 miles south of dallas and from the posistion I was at using the southern horizon as zero and 12o'clock(straight up) as 90 it passed at about a 45 degree angle across the sky...west northwest to east southeast...schoalers have felt that any city in the north america region could be referred to as the new citys

there was a show on him on TLC a few weeks back about whether the stuff was valid or not. i'm not sure what to believe, some of his stuff is pretty weird how it like predicts the future, but they also had some pretty good arguements on that show on why it was all just a hoax. it'll probably be reran sometime soon again. if i see a commercial for it again i'll post

You know Jungian terminology! That is trippy stuff with all the addition. I just recently did a research paper for my college on the topic of synchronicity-"an acausal connecting principle." It would be rather deterministic to think that life is set on a non-swerving course, but it sure seems like it sometimes. Mere coincidence or accentuated for a reason?

Are there any other weird coincidences/experiences people have had? Dreams tie into this type of disscussion...preminition, intuition, psychokenesis, etc. are all tied intyo Jung's concept of the Collective Unconscious.
