Thanks - I really didn't do much except let NASA know that this deepley affected me & the country. I never thought they'd read it - at least not so soon. Makes me wonder if they needed to know we cared - now they do.
One of these days I'd love to go down there & see the Space Center - if they ever open it back up to public tours. Actually, I'd love to be allowed to put a fingerprint on a shuttle so that someday, a "part of me" actually goes into space since they won't take all of me!
It's not too late - let NASA know that you care & if applicable, that you still support the shuttle program. It HAS to go on or the lives of these astronauts, as well as those of Apollo1 & the Challenger will have been in vain & their untimely deaths a waste. We owe it to them NOT to let that happen.
