Space Shuttle, Condolences from Canada

I had left the house to go to the local Arena to watch my nephew play hockey, much to my suprise I walked in and there was about 35 people gathered around the T.V. You people in the U.S.A are the people that make this world a better place to live and I would like to express my condolences to all of you, Loseing 7 Space Shuttle members is a substancial loss and this is a day of sadness up here in Alberta our flags at the local facilities and the Police Station are at half staff.

God Bless all of you.

Condolences from Florida

This has been a sad day. No doubt about that. Its a shame when bad things happen to good people. I'm sure everyone will do their best to honor those lost. Its also a shame since this was the first flight with Israeli astronauts onboard. God bless and have a nice day.

I used to want to be a spaceman so bad when I was young, had many many dreams of it till the fact that they test you out to see if you can handle the G's by spinning you around, I hate being spun around.

So now I just act like a spaceman :P

Those guys in the shuttle had everyone's dream job, more air force pilots I know would give a left arm to fly in the shuttle. Its a sad loss today, and a sad day overall,,,, first my truck blows, and now the shuttle, what's next!!

Nice post's guys. I was in my garage servicing my Harley when they interrupted for a News Alert and stated the loss of communications situation, soon followed by the video's sadly confirming the worst. What a terrible thing and god bless them all.

Hearing the loud boom was one thing, then finding out later what it was makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck! It literally rattled the windows and shook the house for about 60-90 seconds! Ive heard sonic booms before, but this was much more intense. Im about 30 miles from where most of the debris fell, but there has been debris found here as well! What a sad and tragic day.
