Are you saying you don't think he is an arrogant ***, or you listen even though he is an arrogant ***. I listened to his show a few times when he was on - mainly because of the guests he had on the show.

 

I listen because he makes me laugh....sometimes? He's got an ego the size of NYC, but listening to the chit that happens on the show is a gas. Sometimes I think its bullchit, what they say is happening, but when you watch his show on the E Channel, its true alright

 

howard stern is hilarious. sometimes the stuff he does or says can just be wrong, but alot of times its still funny. yeah he's an arrogant ***, but he sure does have some hot guests on his show sometimes

Here's my take.........

I listen to Bob and Tom every morning. I like them and think that they're really funny and have some great skits, but I can't stand their constant laughter. Too many times its "ha ha ha ha ha ha " at things that aren't funny at all.

Can't stand Stern. If I remember right, he didn't last long in Chicago.

After moving from Chicago two years ago, the guy I miss is Mancow. I wish I could get him in Cincy.

Yeah and the station that foolishly hosted him went bankrupt shortly after. The funniest thing about it all was that Stern boldly stated on the first day he was on the air, that he would run B&T out of their hometown within 2-3 weeks. Didn't happen.

I actually listened to that idiot for the first day he was on here, just to give him a chance. Big mistake.

I admit that B&T are a little annoying at times and they (Bob mostly) laughs too much, but I just could not bring myself to listen to that JACKA$$ ridicule everyone. I just cannot stand people who are that egotistical.

Plus, you have to admire Bob and Tom for giving up ALL proceeds from all their (20+) albums to charity. Has to be at least a million bucks by now. They are pretty good people.

Anyway, I mostly enjoy Chick's participation. He cracks my ***** up!!

A station I listen to recently got the Bob and Tom show. At first I was mad because they replaced a couple of DJs I liked, but the more I listened to them, the more I like them.
They are pretty funny.

 

Yeah, we refer to the wife's Taurus as 'Pinkly'. Reading the lines like pinkly taurus, ****ens cider, and elk hunt doesn't work very well. when you hear them the words take on new meanings.

I like Chick, but Gunner is the **** when he's on.

The downside to listening to B&T is whenever I go to a comedy club, I already know most of the comedians material.

anybody else remember the traffic jam on 465 up on the north side from people stopping to get out and take pictures of B&T's billboard?


I really liked that station, too - after about 10:30 anyway. Did you notice shortly after they went under, Laura Steel moved to Q95?
