I worked at a bait camp from the age of 12 until 16 that had a boat ramp. I personally saw at least 2 dozen in those 4 years end up submerged.
We even had wheel blocks on the ramp, and huge signs with arrows pointing down saying where the concrete ramp ended and dropped off.
