Hello! This is olefafl's old woman
The due date is June 10th to the 15th, depending on how they calculate it. But you know, when it wants to come out, I'll let it!
I've heard a lot of people say that the pictures are amazing. The lab tech said they upgraded about a year ago. If you want to see something freaky, ask about 3-D ultrasounds. They showed one in the paper - but that's way too much detail for something that still looks like an alien parasite
The first ultrasound (most recent post) was at 12 weeks. The pics at the beginning of the topic are from 20 weeks (that's about 5 1/2 months for the uninitiated). I'll have another at 28 weeks. They usually only do one at 20 weeks but I have high BP and they're watching it, but everything is fine and normal (strange, considering the parents!
)
Thanks for all the good wishes! (Maybe I can get Daddy to pose in his "Look What I Did" t-shirt for you)

olefafl,
where are you guys going that they have that sort of equipment? St Vincents?
I'm done in Columbus with a Dr. that we really like, but she couldn't tell me what the scale was on the monitor during the ultrasound. The quality of your image is unbelievable!
I hope your BP is kept under control, I had a cousin who had high BP, and the medicine they gave her agrravated her toxemia, which led her to be confined to bed rest for the last 3-4 months.

My doctor is at the Women's Health Alliance (fancy for a bunch of ob/gyn's) Indianapolis and I've been on 2 different machines there.
I switched to a medicine that's safe for pregnancy several months beforehand. It's been well under control the whole time. And since I teach, if I ever feel funny, I just pop into the nurse's office.
