I hate the Packers, but I like Brett Favre. I don't think he'll retire. If he does he already has two rings. I think he is one of the best QBs of all time. Mike Sherman looks like an a-hole.

Go Bucs!

I would've figured the Bears were America's team?

I guess it depends on who you ask.

If you ask the Cowboys, they say THEY are America's team.

If you ask America, they say the PACKERS are America's team.

I'll take America's word on this one.

And believe this, America's team will never be owned by anyone remotely similar to Jerry Jones.

Thumbs down "America's Team" BS!!

That Term "America's Team" is the biggest crock of crap that anyone ever started!! I have been around many years (55) and I think this BS started with the Dallas Cowboys, (please feel free to correct me if I am not correct in anything I say) and waaay back then I could not believe that they (or someone ) declared them "America's team" . I thought "Heck I am part of This country and I did not get to vote on this issue" It now seems to surface every now and then -- What narrow-minded bunch of idiots put this CRAP out!!? When the whole country (USA) gets the opportunity to vote on this -- then it will have a bit of credability!!
Amen -- now I will get off of my soap box!!

...sigh.
The term "America's Team" is used to irritate all other team's fans (mostly those that run their mouths and are easily irritated, see above), nothing more.
Some people understand this, others get on soapboxes.

I had never heard of the Packers being dubbed "America's Team". I always heard that about the Cowboys, which was ok when they were good ten years ago.

And yet somehow you heard that Favre has "two rings".
