OK, let's face it, naming an inanimate object is just wierd. Large boats may be an exception. I always thought people who named their trucks were odd. but now I am considering it. what's happening to me? I think I might name it Sue.

A lot of people on here have names for their truck.

Just to think of one person in particular... there is a person who owns a King Ranch and frequents the KR forum. She has named her truck TOMAS thus, any post where she refers to her truck, you'll see the name 'Tomas' (pronounced Thomas)... I'm sure NUMEROUS folks have cruised through the KR fourm and seen this person talking about Tomas this and Tomas that and must have certainly thought that she was looney! LOL!

I figure I'm just going to call mine 'Bitch'. That way I can rub on my bitch, wax my bitch, buff my bitch, sit on my bitch, get inside my bitch, lube my bitch, and, most importantly, drive my bitch.

That's what I call my bitch, I mean my truck. Now I know I am not weird. It's great telling my buddies that my bitch don't talk back, let's me do what ever I want to, drive around if I feel like it with another bitch along with her and no complaining about me sitting on my bitch and riding my other bitch around at the same time.

My truck's name is Dixie

 

My grandmother had a brother named Sue. And no I'm not kidding. As for my trucks name it's Betsy. My dad had a '73 F250 with a 360 and 4 speed that he named Betsy so I just figured I'd carry on the tradition.

 

OH DEAR GOD... LMAO! I busted out laughing when I read that... and my wife is asleep in the room next door... it's 2am!! LOL! That's too much...

I call mine "the truck". Every truck I've ever owned has had the same name.

If it breaks down I temporarily call it "POS"!

Your right that is one of the MOST important good points, no talking back. Let's not forget that it CANT ask "How does this, or how would this look on me?" I already know what will look good and what wont. Even better she just sits there waiting to be "turned on" and she is ever time you decide to do so. Ahhhh life is great with this bitch. LOL

 

Holy cow....thats what I refer to my truck as! Reason being, its one of the toughest vehicles I've ever seen--so, its not "a truck", its "The Truck." I've considered having custom plates with that on it.

 

We have a guy running around here with a lic. plate that says "TRUCK".

I thought it was Algore, you know how he figures everyone else is so stupid that they wouldn't know it was actually a truck. I am wondering if this same guy has a plate on his car that says "CAR"

Maybe I shouldn't be so mean, I mean this guy might be blind and use his plates as brail to figure out which one to drive...

 

I , along with all my friends , refer to my truck as Big Green.
