What a New Years present, my parents just made settlment on 1.75 acres of land in Carbon county today!! Now the house is going to be a large shifted ranch style with a huge kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and my fathers personal favorite......., a30x30 two car garage with enough room for workspace on all sides!!

now the part that bothers me is, they were not kidding when they told me when they die all thats going to be left is the wrappers!!!

so at least i get all the free lift time i want(im an only child!)

Ok, here's the real question....Is your dad gonna contract out the house or build it himself.

Reason I ask is if he's gonna build it, I predict you will have many hours of sweat invested in that house. I be speakin' from experience. We've got about 2 more months to go on dad's house (only 4.5 years total build time!!).

By the way, congrats on that garage. There's nothing like having access to a large workspace.

 

thanks, but dad is retired on disability, and he is not gonna lift a finger except to sign the mortgage...lol
