I do like them. And they need to bring back the TT version, or at minimum a single turbo. Those cars just kicked @zz!

Track versions are 34-36k so if you see them for 39+ someone is getting ripped. And they look even better in person. I am an avid Z fan(I have a 77 280z my mom bought brand new w/ less than 100k miles) and was unsure of this one till I saw the orange one in car and driver it started to grow on me. Saw a silver and then a black one..after that I was an love and decided if fortune should smile on me than both the z and l would be side by side in my garage.

My car before my Vobra was a 91 300ZX. It was a great car and was a blast to drive. Repairs on the car were horrible though. Parts were way more expensive and repairs much more frequent than the Cobra. So much for Fixed Or Repaired Daily. The car was great but the reason I bought a cobra was because I raced one. I got spanked and within a few weeks bought a Cobra. I somewhat like the new 350Z but I can't get over the taillights. They did such a horrible job with them. All in all not a bad car though but for $35K for the good one I would rather a Lightning or new Cobra.

I saw one the other day on the back of a flatbed. Sweet car and they got some major possibilities for performance. I wouldn't mine having one of those, but I would rather have the skiline if and when they bring them to the US.

That dude can't drive worth crap...I have a 350Z and ran a 14.1 @101 on a 2.4 60'. I think mid 13's are attainable with a great launch and some drag radials.

Actually any semi stock (basic bolt on ) GT will get smoked, especially froma roll. The Z is a high speed car, has a little trouble getting off the line though. I haven't been beaten by a GT yet.

As far as the Lightning goes, from a 60 punch the L jumps a car or two, but it's quickly made up once speeds reach 100. I've run sevefral of my friends L's and anything under a 60 punch the L pulls pretty hard because of all that Tq. Anythign over 60 punch it's much closer, an 80 puncha nd they are neck and neck until about 100 and the Z pulls pretty bad on the top end. Keep in mind these L's I've run have been stock or close to stock (no pulleys) just basic bolt ons (intake ,exhaust etc )
