ANyone know what the best way to get a patent on an idea is?

Easiest way preferred of course.

I don't know that there is an easy way. I have 12 of them, but the corporations that I was contracted with took care of everything. The first three things you MUST do are 1, Make sure you have dates on anything you do, 2, Have a whitness sign and date when you first disclosed the idea to them, 3, Don't show or tell the idea to anyone without having them sign a confidentuality agreement. When you file or if you have to go to court (take it from me) you'll need these.
Some office supply and drug stores sell the forms necessary to get started. It takes years and bucks to bring one to completion, and I've never done it without lawyer(s) getting involved.
