The dealer (I actually worked for them as a service writer almost 15 years ago) told me "end of May" for the ETA.

 

It could end up taking that long. After all it's a ETA.
Some guys get a bit upset if it don't make there ETA...

 

The only thing I am upset about is the fact that we suffered from too much analysis paralysis and didn't place our order sooner... Still though May 14th can come and go and I'll be happy knowing the truck is coming "soon".

So this morning I informed the dealer that my truck was in at the rail yard as of 5/14 and as we were filling out paperwork this afternoon he recounted the story of listening to my message and thinking to himself that there was no way my truck was in Benicia. Turns out they had 2 other sold units up there today also so they sent some drivers to avoid waiting on the convoy.

1 day over original ETA... Not bad.
