Looking for my first Ford
Hello,
Since this is my first Ford and first pick-up...I am extremely anxious...
The track label says it was built Feb 20th, 2012, and the dealer tells me arriving next week....which is great, but want to be sure...

Argh! I guess I should've pestered my salesmen more. Ford.ca's build and price is broken I guess.
If you go to ford.ca and do a build and price it will not allow you to select the EcoBoost and the HD payload package.
I would've really liked the HD payload package but was told it was unavailable with the EcoBoost in Canada.
Oh well, I'll enjoy my truck nonetheless when it arrives.

Yeah, I learned about the HD option via the US order guides found in these forums...so when I discussed with the dealership, I built a US Ecoboost with the HD Payload package and asked for this.... FYI, it's only available with XL, XLT and Lariat (Lariat availability is new for 2012 with HD)...

ssmimo, what city are you in? Your truck was received by Autoport on the same day and ramp as my truck, I wonder if they will share a car hauler trailer out of the yard? Mine is a Pale Adobe 5.0 HD payload XLT.

Bump...and hope you are referring to the lack of VIN, as opposed to me being a "junior member"...
Here's the VIN (1FTVW1ET7CKD48254), which was supposed to arrive to the dealer today...but haven't heard!
BTW...coming from an OEM...Ford should be paying you for this service...as it keeps the dealers focused on Sales!

Lucky! Post pictures! (EDIT: start a thread in the 2009+ forum so we keep this one cleaner for the sake of Setchan's sanity). My delivery really got screwed up by the failed railcar inspection. My truck was received on the same ramp at Autoport 3 hours after yours on Friday but my tracking info has not been updated beyond that. A car hauler was unloading F150s at my dealer here in Guelph last night but my truck wasn't on the load. If your truck was delivered in Mississauga on Monday evening, I hope mine gets here today!
