I don't know what's going on with this order but the dealer is feeding me a bunch. I ordered this truck on 1-16-2012, order number C548, dealer#F27053. The dealer gave me the VIN last Friday 2-24 after I said I was going to South Carolina to by a truck of the lot. He said the truck would be here in the next couple of weeks. I guess that's not going to happen......
I appreciate your time and effort.....

There's probably just a typo in the VIN the dealer sent you, possibly ask them to resend and post so Setchan has it next time he is on.

Method of transp.

If the method of transportation is listed as convoy does that mean that it will be by truck from the assembly plant to the dealership?

not all the way to Virginia, no
it may go via convoy to the rail yard, and then again from the destination rail yard via convoy to the dealer
