Priority #19....if you're in a hurry, tell your dealer to change it to a lower #

 

hmm, my dealer said it doesnt really change anything (its probably just them being lazy!) Is there any indication as of yet what the estimated delivery date to the dealership is? Or too soon to tell?

 

He don't want to change priority....hmmm...him and i wouldn't get along so good.

Well good news is I went to my dealer and had priority changed from #19 to #1!

 

I thought 10 was the lowest a dealer could select with 1-9 being reserved for Ford themselves?

So basically what difference does that make over priority 19? Does the car get built quicker? Shipped faster?

 

Wow I wonder how the dealer managed to pull that one off, here is an article I read awhile ago written by a dealer about the whole order process and priority codes, it is a bit old so I don't know if it is all still valid and I hope its ok I post the link.
