SETCHAN, sorry to resurface this thread again but could you let me know if the ETA has changed? The truck arrived in Ayer Thursday night and I'm wondering if it's likely to stay there for the full 9 days until the original ETA of 3/11.

OK, I read it and I think I'm adhering to the rules by reusing this old thread but let me know if I've misunderstood something. Thanks!

ETA is still Mar-11-2012
Received - I10 (United Road Service ) Ramp 04, Ayer, MA Mar-02-2012, 12:00 ET Mar-11-2012

My guess is that it will arrive at the dealer before the 11th. Another guess of mine is that it will probably get trucked out VERY soon
Check back tomorrow

SETCHAN, the truck was received by the dealer this morning at 7:34. I will be picking it up this afternoon, so the only thing left to do is post a picture of the truck this evening.

The service you provide with build and delivery tracking is awesome and it creates enormous good will for Ford. I have been in the corporate world for more than 30 years, with many of those spent at senior-level management positions. I spent 17 years in corporate IT for a multinational technology company, with 6 of those years at the IT Director level. I now work as a corporate technology sales trainer and own my own business in the truck aftermarket accessories realm.

That background makes me realize just what an asset you are to Ford. If they know that you provide this service, I hope they recognize and reward you for doing it. If they don't know about it, they should. I'm actually surprised that they haven't already built a web interface into the system you're accessing to make this a self-service function for customers and dealers.

Thanks so much for everything you do here. You are a case-study example of how to be customer-focused and build loyalty among the Ford customers you touch.

As promised, here are the pictures. The hood is up in one shot because our store tech was already exploring the truck.

I will be having a friend who does restoration work add the lower accent color as if this were a Lariat two-tone. But Golden Bronze is a great color all by itself. Several people at the dealership commented on how much the truck stood out in a sea of black/blue/gray/red SuperDuty's.

Thanks, SETCHAN, for all your help. To all those waiting for your trucks to arrive, it will be well worth the wait. I can't believe how well this truck drives!
