Thanks for the update.
Does it seem kind of odd that the truck gets released on the 17th, dealer says Ford posted new ETA for week of 2/20 and here it is 2/28 and still nothing?
Seems I read someone stating once that trucking companies will favor long haul deliveries. Since mine would only be a 1 hour drive maybe they are letting it sit till the last minute in order to get longer hauls for better pay. Have you ever heard this before SETCHAN?
Just thinking out loud here. I guess this is more "thinking verbally" not "out loud".

My dealer sent a message a couple of days ago stating he would see if his rep could find anything out. I have not heard back yet.
Do you know what a rep would be able to find out the the dealer or you do not know or see?

Thank you for your time!

A rep does have a lot more info available to him then the dealer, that's a given.
My hunch is, they aren't going to make a bunch of calls, trying to find out what the "holdup" on your and everybody else s vehicle is.
It is NOT unusual for delivery to take up to 4 weeks
Keep in mind that most builds take 8-12 weeks.
Just relax and enjoy the wait. (Yeahhh right....)

Got tired of waiting for a response since he said he would get back with me a week ago, so I went into the dealership today and talked with my salesman. Their rep was in the other day and he had her look up my truck since they can see more information. The rep said my truck was on a material hold along with a number of other trucks. Had no other information.

Salesman looked my truck up again in his system and it was no longer on the "plant list". I guess this means one of two things, either it was taken off that list because of the material hold and moved elsewhere, or... my salesman said he has only seen builds taken off that list when they have been shipped. I am crossing my fingers for the latter.

I am assuming you would still see "awaiting shipment" on my status at this point though. (1FTMF1EFXCFA84557)

I can't wait to see a picture of your truck. Mine is nearly identical, except 4x2 instead of 4x4. I've already got the lowering kit and wheels in the garage, if my truck would just show up.

Truck was delivered today. Took exactly 12 weeks from order to delivery.
Will attempt to post pics once I pick it up on Monday or Tuesday after my accessories are taken care of.

Thank you for tracking SETCHAN!
