It is a bit scary to think today is my build day and it is a Monday plus a holiday.
My wife brought this to my attention.

 

According to the scheduled build day , the plant is working today.
Monday and Friday builds are no different then other days. Way back in the 70's-early 80's, it may have been a bit of a problem because of absenteeism - man power shortage.
Nothing to worry about!

Just checked your info afterwards with the other guys that have there build day today, so i can bunch you all up onto the first page. Makes things easier for me.

I searched but do not see this:
my friends are surprised it does not take a week for my truck to be built.
Is there a video or anything describing the build process and/or time lines during the build? I would love to check it out if there is.

After 13 years since my last F150 build I am really excited to get my race red FX4 EB.

 

Your asking for a lot of info...all i will tell you is, 1 day to build a truck. There are however 3 shifts.

I see I am at the dreaded Ramp 59 as ntborer did. I guess it is likely we will not be hearing much about transport for a while.
Closing the sale of my '99 F-150 later today. Really am looking forward to this new one.
