Wenatchee, WA, I've been there! I know the tracks. It's finally made to my territory. Wenatchee is a very nice city and beautiful area. In the heart of WA apple country. Also where the factory is that makes Applets and Cotlets. Great fishing, too.

Well, after 3 days time it is actually no closer as the crow flies, but it looks to be getting to the express track, so it is clearly closer time-wise. Thank you, SETCHAN, for your updates.

 

Don't really matter how fast it's moving along. Just keep the ETA of Feb-02-2012 in mind

 

Yep, I know it'll take it's time. RRs have their computers. And unless it comes in a week ahead of time, I won't be able to pick it up until after 2/2 anyway.

Your reports have definitely made the waiting and expectation more interesting. One thing, is anticipating its route. I thought it'd take a southern route through Barstow and end up in Roseville, CA, then get trucked north to Redding. But, instead it's taken a northern route through MT and WA, probably now to Portland and Klamath Falls. If it does that it'll pass close to my house in the Shasta Valley of CA.

Also interesting is how this has made me bond with my truck. I mean...cleared space in it's room (garage), chatted up its progress with friends. and picked out furnishings and stuff it'll wear.

Ahhh. I think this means it's being loaded onto a truck, no? If so, it'll come right through Yreka (where I live) on its way to the dealer in Redding. Hmmm ...wonder if I can just flag it down?

Also, if it's going on a truck, then you probably won't be getting any more updates. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your efforts to keep me and all the rest of us anxious owners-to-be informed. It really does make the wait more interesting. Hope you also enjoy your new truck when it comes. Thank you.

I shared your last update with the dealer that it made it to United Road Service, and got this reply...

...got your message. I called the trucking company to see if I could get a better idea on ETA and ask them to move it to “HOT”. I had to leave a message. I’ll let you know what I come up with...

I presume that means he's asked it get priority shipping. If so, perhaps we'll see it a couple of days sooner. ...or not.
