Thanks for the update SETCHAN. Do you have any idea why it keeps getting pushed back? My dealer told me it would be 6-8 weeks and now I'm looking at like 14 weeks.

 

I do not know....could be many reasons.
Maybe your dealer's info was right when he told you, there was a shortage on KR leather.
I seen them push it back, and then pull ahead again.....not trying to get you're hopes up, just saying......

 

I understand, just trying to decide if I want to keep waiting or try and find a Lariat on a lot. Decisions, decision LOL. Thanks for all your help, I haven't been told anything from my dealer other than the leather delay.

Good for you...that way, you'll get what you wanted in the first place.
I never seen a KR sitting on a lot, waiting to be bought.
Just like the Harley Davidson...they are for the most part customer orders.

Setchan has been most helpful with my tracking. I'm excited about my truck arriving but I'm also trying to gauge when to sell my 02' Screw. If I can sell it before Jan 1st, I won't have to pay property taxes on it at the time of sale / transfer. Jan 1st or later and I'm stuck with the taxes on it and on my new truck when it arrives.

I ordered a bronze KR 5.0 4x4. I haven't heard anything about a leather shortage, very possible though. I'm about 30 miles from KTP (KY Truck Plant). Most of my family is there. They make F250 - F550's, Expeditions, and Navigators. To the best of my knowledge, they are still cranking out KR Expeditions and Super Duty's. The leather could be different though. They're getting ready for shutdown shortly but I'll find out for sure.
