Talking Major Upgrade!! '07 to '10

Hey all... I went from this:

to this:

Night and day difference... I haven't put my bakflip on yet because It's been so cold and after putting my wheels on I couldn't take it anymore lol.

Differences (besides the new tranny and facelift) on the 2010 from the 2007 are: Power sliding rear window, Sony Premium Audio (sub to be replaced soon... it's pathetic), leather seats, back up sensors, SYNC.

The 2010 feels much faster stock than my 2007, which had a Gryphon 93 Performance tune, CAI, and roush sido o/r exhaust. I cannot wait to install a dynamax bullet muffler, custom php tune (when available), and I will probably just remove the snorkle on the stock CAI and run like that.

Enjoy the new ride.

I went from a '07 KR to a '09 KR and agree the difference is huge. More comfort and better fuel economy and better acceleration in the comparison.

Thats Great! I went from a 97 to a 09 and it was definitely a night and day difference. I recently installed a borla exhaust. I didn't notice any power improvement but when I took my snorkel out I could really feel a difference. The combination of the two is noticeable. Enjoy!

I just upgraded from a 2006 FX4 to a 2010 FX4 S-Cab. I test drove a Raptor but they would not budge off MSRP so I had them locate my new truck, Tux Black, Leather, moon-roof and Nav. Paid about 32,000, down from the $42,500 on the sticker.

Only 77 miles so I have not "tested" out the power yet.

Question is what do you guys mean about taking off the snorkel? I'm not totally stupid I know your talking intake but can you guys post a pic?
Also the Raptor sounded killer, nice and deep but not loud inside at all. I'm looking for that sound on the cheap, any suggestions?

TIA

I'll be watching to see what you do with the subwoofer. My truck that I have ordered hasn't even arrived yet and I am hoping that the subwoofer is adequate, but I'm already trying to plan out what I will do when I figure out it's not.
