Steering wheel squeak ?

Steering wheel squeak ?

When I turn my steering wheel there is a squeaking sound like something is rubbing.Anyone else have this.

Sounds like the pitman arm. It needs to be replaced or lubricated by using a needle attached to your grease gun.

Try sprating wd 40 at the fire wall seal it fixed it on mine. :-)

I should have mentioned the noise is right in the wheel,possibly rubbing something where it is mounted.

The dealer tried to fix mine 3 different times.. I finallly gave up.

There is a bearing in there that needs a shot if Silicone Lube. Fixes it. Its in the stearing columb inside the truck.
