How do I get more power out of a 98 powerstroke. I just bought it and am looking into making more power and torque. Ive heard taking off the muffler and or cat will help but wanted to hear some of your suggestions before I do this. thank you for your replies. Ed

Hit the exhaust first and get rid of that Cobra head, replace with a 3" to 3 1/2" DP to 4" exhaust...Open the intake side, Return truck to good running condition, oil and filter, air filter, fuel filter, syns in the boxes..Next would be chip, bulletproof Auto(if equiped)
