I have read one post a long time ago where someone had true duals (dual cats too) added to his V10. He didn't like it. The V10 is a odd ball exhaust wise. More indy car like. Getting a V8 rumble is very hard to do. If you want duals from the cat-back then I'd go with a name brand system like Flowmaster, Gibson, Borla etc.

I think all the ford engines are fickle towards screwing with the exhaust. Everything Ive read says leave them alone or you could end up losing your low end grunt.

thanks for the info, i think i am gonna let it go. My truck wont be built till oneday next week, so i do have time. I wanted duals on my other one a couple years ago and had the same delemma. So it looks like just a tuner , K&N, and tires for now.

For what it's worth, I put a flowmaster DeltaFlow-40 on it, rest of exhaust is stock, and it sounds about as bitch'n as you are going get the v10 to sound. At least I like it.

Thumbs down Nooooooooo! Don't do it!

My friend has a 250 w/ dual exhaust...it sucks! Sounds like a ricer "fart pipe"! As someone posted the 10 def. has an "oddball exhaust" All i know is my friend regrets putting duals on it, we give him a hard time about it constantly!
But, if you wanna sound like the soundtrack from the Fast and Furious, its all you brother! Good luck with your decision!
