Does anybody have a 6.0 yet? And does anyone know of a link to a sound file of it.

 

Tiger I stopped at Ford today. Tipical salesmen dont know much.The new motor is supposed to be released in November. It gets a 5 speed auotomatic. Although I saw a 2003 F350 with the old motor in it. The 7.3 diesel. Bob

 

I posted a few threads below, a link to the Fords website where they are now advertising the 6.0 available in winter 2003. I assume that means after the first of the year.

I know someone who's boss drove one (they work for Ford) and was extremely impressed with it over the 7.3. We'll see.......

Yes, it is.

 

The 2003 PSD are going to be 7.3, until 2003.25...After the first of the year they will be 6 liter G2 engines...The cutoff date for the ordering of the 7.3 has come and gone...You can no longer order a super duty with the 7.3....You can order a 6.0, but it wont be in until around late december...

Ford has a long term contract with Navistar to supply diesel engines until 2011...

Including, but not limited to the baby diesel V6 4.5 that is slated for the F150...

From what I am reading it is a diesel?

I have a '72 6.0L gas motor.
I like how ford is using the old blocks again.
