Question F150 to F250 stereo swap

I just bought a 2000 f250 Super Duty and want to upgrade the existing stereo to one with a cd player in it. I've found a few factory units for sale at good prices but mostly these come out of f150's.

My question is this; Is the f150 unit (in this case a 6cd changer and assorted goodies) going to fit in my f250 dash correctly? I saw at least one post that said he thought it would work but I'd like to be sure before spending the cash.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me on this.

Beau

maybe

cant say for sure but the stock stereo from my 99 f150 was installed into my dads 99 f250. The only big problem was that he had a work package truck and it only had one wireing harness behind the dash. My stock stereo had two wiring harness plugged into it. I think it was because the work truck model did not have stereo speakers.
