Right! It is an F250 LD (light duty as opposed to Super Duty). Ford had a F250 LD available in 1997 & 1998. The truck was eliminated for 1999 when the F150 7700 package became available. At least I think that's when it was canned.

 

Correct. Not really canned, just renamed pretty much.

 

You can look at it as a Heavy Duty F150 as that is all it is.
