F-250 SD radio/CD Changer Console idea question

If I sell my SuperCrew as I hope I will, I'm moving to an F-250 CC Diesel to pull my new travel trailer.
Both of the trucks I've located have the 2002 AM/FM/Cassette single CD changer but I want to ad a six disk like the use in the F-150. Does anyone know if it will plug into the F-250 radio?

Also, I plan to replace the F-250 console with an Expedition console to house the CD Changer

Five Spoke wheels, Captains Chairs (old style)
CD Changer
Ford Soft Tonneau
Saris Roof Rack/yak saddles
Bed extender
Deltacycle bed bike rack
towing pkg
Expedition console

towing a new Kiwi Too 28R

I've been looking at SD's lately and you can get them with optional 6 disc changers in the dash. Maybe just get them to exchange the current system for a six cd one and just pay the $210 difference.

There was a second connector block on the rear of the factory unit in my '00, which I believe I was told was for adding a factory CD changer. I haven't looked on the back of my '02 yet since I haven't added anything to the sound system. I can't answer if the unit from the F150 is comptible with the F250. If you haven't already, post this question over in the audio section. At one time there was a regular who was pretty knowledgeable about what was possible with all of the factory equipment.

I am sure that the newer SD's HAVE either an in-dash 6 CD player or it is located in the middle console. Am I wrong guys?

I looked at a LOT of 250's when I bought mine, if there was a multi-cd unit, it was in the dash. Never saw one in the console.

Like Okie said - all the ones I saw already equipped with a changer had an in-dash 6-cd unit. This doesn't mean that you absolutely can't add a remote unit - just would seem to lessen the odds of being able to do it.

its a Jayco Kiwi Too 28R. Probably wieghs 5000 lbs ready to travel.

At this point it doesn't look like I'll be getting an SD anytime soon. I'm getting tired of the insults trying to trade my SuperCrew while buying on Xplan. The delears are all trying to recover the new car profit by low balling my trade in value.

I thik I'm just going to order something and get it next spring when the lease is up. I really didn't want the new engine that soon and there's no $2000 reabte on the 2003's.

There's a picture in the album of the SuperCrew with the trailer when we were on our way home from Penna.

pre-arranged discount levels between Ford and other large volume buyers for benefits of employees.

In our case it was probably because our field service folks all have Taurus company cars - a quadragodzillion of them
