Cackle

Just curious what everyone in here thinks of the CACKLE ISSUE in these trucks?

i don't know if my truck has it and i don't care if it does

i have had the truck a little over a year and have 45,000 miles, and i will get rid if it within a year and a half

You would care if you had to keep your truck longer an I also have the SCMT and it does not get rid of cackle I do not know how you got that assumption JMO

you wanted to know what we thought about it, so I gave you my opinion

and who is to say that the chip did not get rid of it???

if you want more information on cackle go over to
www.ford-diesel.com

you will get so much info there it isn't funny, and some people have been able to get rid of it

Ron it was not a shot it was just my opinion and yes I am following the cackle issue on F-D.com and to change your answer on the cackle no one has got rid of it completly they have reduced it a great deal but they have not cured the problem yet . There are alot of great guys working on the problem though ,if you havent checked this web page out you might want to take a look ford-cackle.org
