Question 250 SD Suspension

Does anyone know how to identify what kind of suspension is configured on a 250 SD?? A friend just purchased a 2002 250SD Crew w/V10 (mine is a V8) and his rear suspension is different from mine. While I purchased my truck new, it had come to the dealer through an auction process and so, did not come with the original window sticker. The main difference between my rear suspension and his, is that I have a rear sway bar. He has an extra set of leaf springs, mounted on top of the stack, that I do not..... His truck also looks like it sits an inch or two higher than mine in the rear ( he does have different tires). Anyway, I'm just wondering if there's a code somewhere on the truck that identifies the suspension configuration. Thanks for any help.

Dan

I'm guessing, since I'm new to this stuff. I just got a 2002 SD Crew Cab 4x4, 5.4L w3.73ls, LB in March. My came with the Snow Plow Package and seems to have the extra leafs that you talk about. The only mention of Rear sway bars in the Ford Brochures, are when they mention the Camper Package. I'm sure someone else here would know the correct answer. George K
