Which bed liner?

I bought a new truck and am trying to decide on what type of bedliner to get.

It is pretty much between a spray in (rhino) or a bedrug.

I have had the bedrug, and like it, but I am thinking maybe the rhino would be better in the new truck.

What are your opinions?

I have had the bed rug and the spray in. Once you use the spray in you won't regret it. I used the Line-X, more durable than Rhino but everthing slides around like it is on ice.

I'm considering the spray in liner for my new truck eventually but for the time being I've got the heavy rubber mat by Duraliner which provides full floor coverage.
I figured that since they needed to scuff the paint to get the spray liner to adhere I'd wait awhile till the bed was getting a bit scratched thru useage. I don't use the truck for continual hauling of heavy materials (brick, gravel...) so the mat will work for quite awhile. If I was beating the bed up, most definately I'd spray it right away.

Cool

Can’t comment on the spray liners but I have a Duraliner and it’s a good one. The Duraliner is heavy duty and bed dents are dammn near impossible to do.

we put linux in my step dad's dually. so far after almost 2 years it has performed flawlessly. having had stone dumped into it, bikes hauled in it, as well as the usual load of lumber and tools. we have had no problem what so ever with things sliding around on it. would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a liner.
my friend just put one in his truck also, and loves it. when i finally decide to get my new truck i will be putting one in there as well.

Arrow Line-X

Have to give the props to Line-X as well. My loads don't slide around as did the Ford bedliner. Excellent @$320. investment.

Another vote for Line-X here. It was the first thing I did to my truck and I've never regretted it.

My last truck had a slide-in liner and it just didn't work for me.

Thanks for the replies, I decided to go with the bedrug, I have had 3 and liked them a lot, so I went with what I knew.

The thing that kind of scared me away from spray in liners is that they have to sand down the bed, I just could not bring myself to let someone sand on my brand new truck.

Thanks again
Paul

Glad you made a decision . I understand what you mean by sanding down the bed...it was ugly...but the result is awesome. Speaking of sanding, that's exactly what the drop-ins do as soon as you drive away from the shop that installed (or from your Ford dealer). The drop ins kill the bed, glad you stayed away.

Murfster, I know how bad those plastic drop ins sand the bed, I had one in an old dodge I had and if you looked under the liner, it looked like a huge rust bucket.

I figure with the bedrug, If down the road I decide I don't like it or it doesnt fit my needs, I can take it out and sell it and get a spray in.

Thanks
Paul
