2008 F250 - 5.4l 4x4 - Several Codes - Any Help Appreciated

Good Afternoon;
I am working on a 2008 F250 5.4l 4x4 - I believe I know the problem but would appreciate any experienced ideas on this issue.

1) Sits a few days/ a week then a dead battery, engine wont turn over
2) both the positive and negative cables attached to the battery can be turned by hand so both cables are Not tight like they should be
3) Jump start the truck without tightening the two battery cables, idle truck for 20 minutes and it runs smooth, turn engine off, re-start and engine starts right up
4) I pulled the codes with my [INNOVA 5610] and these are the present codes :
P1000 on board diagnostics system readiness test not complete -
B1318-60 Current, battery voltage low -
B1318-20 CM Not current/MIL, battery voltage low -
B1676-20 CM Not current, battery voltage out of range -
B1863-AO - CM Not current, ground circuit open

What I am going to do:
1) remove the loose battery cables, clean them, clean the battery terminals, re-attach battery cables to battery posts and Tighten to Spec.
2) Drive the truck around for a half hour - then re-check for codes
3) let the truck sit for a few days, if the battery is dead in a few days again I will replace with new battery, this should take care of the problem?

i have no personal experience with this truck so I could appreciate some direction if I am going in the Wrong direction.

Thank You for any suggestions !!

I took these pictures of the two battery posts with cables attached today. They look even dirtier up close in the pictures than they did while I was looking at them, along with both cable connections being loose... I am pretty sure when I clean those connections up and tighten them down tight that this is probably the problem. If not, then the battery itself.
I didn't have a way to test the battery or the alternator today though.

Get it cleaned up and started and go to a parts store, they can test them in the parking lot.

Don't overthink this.

1. Fix what is obvious. Clean up all those connections and clean the top of the battery.
2. As previously suggested, load test battery and verify the alternator works.
