Cat Removal - 5.4L

06 F250 5.4L - plugged catalytic converter, right side only. Removed it, but how much risk is there on the engine over the short and long haul?

For now, I'd get a o2 eliminator and plug it into where the o2 sensor used to be.

No risk to the engine but the backpressure will be unbalanced between the 2 banks.

Don't pull the upstream sensor, but you need something like this on the downstream sensor to avoid a CEL:

Thanks, installed the Vibrant sensor and it appears to working fine as the CEL has not returned.
