Ignition on On, Engine Off Fuel Pressure is Zero
2003 Ford F-250 5.4L Gas - I pulled over to get a coke at a store. I’d been driving for 40 miles. When I came out the engine wouldn’t start. I had it towed home. I put the fuel pressure gauge on it and turn the key to start but the gauge registered zero. Didn’t move. It had done this a few times before but started after a rest.
Is my fuel pump bad? What about this Fuel pump emergency shut off sensor? Where is it?
I have heard the fuel pump relay is soldered. The relay is not serviceable since it is built onto the circuit board of the fuse junction box under left side of dash.
