can i swap a 5.0 to a 7.3idi and it bolt in or up to a c6 trans ... how tedious of a project would this be ... i already rebuilt a 351 and its ready to drop in minus the intake but i love the sound of a idi is this a project worth taking on ???? thanks for any info

LOTS of money. The IDI will not bolt to your C6, different bellhousing pattern.

 

well thats a real dream crusher i think ill stick with my 351 any suggestions on a intake under 500$ besides stock wife isent the happiest with the amount ive already put into this motor along with the purchase of the junkyard motor and thanks for the help
