Hi, asking for my brother and his 2006 F250 Automatic 5.4L V8 with 95K miles.....he wants to drop the pan, clean the screen and change the fluid, approx. how many quarts can he expect to replace ?

The 5R110 requires Mercon SP fluid, and a pan drop will require 7.5 quarts. If you do not use the Motorcraft fluid, you should do a complete exchange and use SP-compatible synthetic. This will require 19 quarts.
