Those are upfitter switch wires. The other ends will be taped up under the dash. They are installed to make going through the firewall easier.

They are wires ford ran thru the firewall for you. look by your parking brake and youll see the other blunt ends under there ready for when you need to wire something up. these are not the upfitter wires. simply just 4 wires run through the firewall only. i used one when i installed my fuel pressure gauge.

If you don't have the upfitter switch panel, they are for the same use. They are just wires passed through.

Nope they're completely different. When you have upfitters there are 4 orange wires with a color strip on each under the dash also for the 4 aux switches.

I got my upfitters and wiring out of a truck had them factory and the 4 blunt wires for the switches are part of that harness which is completely separate and runs from the fuse box to the switches and then to the glove box where the relays are

Yup, the customer access wires were around long before the upfitter switches.
