possible trade from 06 f150 to 2000 f250

I currently have an 06 f150 6.5 foot screw, 4x4, 5.4, xlt, 56k miles with some extras. Books for around 21k or so. An acquaintance from work, has a one owner 7.3 diesel crew cab, 4x4 with 4 inch lift and 35s. It has 132k miles, intake, exhaust and programmer. Brand new tranny as he had the chip set too aggressive. This booked around 16k but has been a dream truck of mine. Should I pursue this trade? I owe 15, but don't want a straight across trade for obvious reasons. Maybe truck for truck plus 3000? I don't tow much anymore and this won't be my daily driver. Let me know what you would do.

If you owe 15k and don't tow then why would you want a diesel? You should probably pay your truck off first...

if your looking to get out of debt then it seems like it would work out for ya assuming hed be paying you 3K plus his truck and taking your payments.

Just know diesels are expensive to own
