just remember the newer diesels are not worth it at all. they get MUCH worse mileage because of all the emissions stuff. get a 2005 6.0 and get the headstuds and egr stuff done and it will be great! or get the 7.3 like you said, the 7.3 is a pretty much prefected design so its nice to have piece of mind

 

For sure. The mileage penalty of the DPF is my biggest complaint about my 6.4, so that is why it is comin' off.
